B. I imagine the image of a new teacher next to an experienced mentor, engaged in conversation, looking worried at times and relaxed at others. The mentor is offering guidance, sharing ideas and encouragement. The new teacher is actively listening, asking questions and absorbing the mentor’s wisdom.
C) The mentoring I received in the early stages of my career consisted of just some observations (3 or 4) of a more experienced teacher. The jigsaw puzzle pieces never got into place to form a clear picture. Of course the picture was formed later but it needed personal effort in order to get training and experience.
